Iqbal Wahhab, founder of the Cinnamon Club, opened Roast in 2006. Located in Borough Market’s iconic Floral Hall, the high windows provide an unparalleled view of the humming market below, as well as St Paul’s Cathedral in the distance.

True to the restaurants’ ethos, Roast presents traditional British food, using the finest in local produce. Head Chef Stuart Cauldwell was previously employed as Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay's, The Narrow, and as Executive Sous Chef at The Wolseley. His dishes reflect a real appreciation for British culinary traditions.

This exciting, limited-time tasting menu celebrates the 10th anniversary of the restaurant. You will sample a selection of Chef Cauldwell's favourite and signature British dishes. In the last decade, the restaurant has also gained acclaim across Britain not only for its food, but also for the wine selection. Since 2007, Roast has been featured in the AA Notable Wine List. Choose to add a wine pairing to your meal, and fully enjoy the best that Roast has to offer.
