Led by award-winning chef Adam Handling MBE, the restaurant has gained a reputation for its creative approach to modern British cuisine, featuring bold flavours, sustainable ingredients, and artistic presentation. Recognised for its exceptional standards, the restaurant has earned multiple accolades, including a Michelin star.
Adam himself boasts an impressive list of awards. He was named Scottish Chef of the Year, British Culinary Federation’s Chef of the Year, Chef of the Year in the Food & Travel Awards and Restaurateur of the Year at the British GQ Food and Drink Awards. This year, Adam won ‘Restaurateur of the Year – Independent’ at the Catey’s, affectionately known as the Oscars of the hospitality industry, and was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by The King for services to hospitality and international trade in the New Year’s Honours List 2024
Adam is a familiar face on television and was crowned BBC TV’s Great British Menu ‘Champion of Champions’ in 2023, as well as creating the official recipe for the Coronation of King Charles III, with his Majestic Chicken Pie winning the public vote on The One Show.
