Founded in 2004, The Avenue Cookery School is the brainchild of head chef and owner Diana Horsford. After garnering seven years of teaching experience at the esteemed Grange Cookery School, the dynamic cookery school boss went on to open number of specialist food ventures, including a catering company and a refined delicatessen in Chelsea. Now the enthusiastic "Mother Duck" of The Avenue Cookery School, she runs a number of fun and interactive courses with her daughter and son.

With a dollop of family fun and a sprinkle of love, the Horsford family have successfully created a unique cookery school that invites everyone to turn their love for good food into practical cooking skills. Steering clear of strict recipes, the ethos of The Avenue kitchen is to use recipes as source of inspiration, not a steadfast instruction.
