Description
Champagne + Fromage is a little taste of France in England’s bustling capital. The company takes pride in offering only limited-production, ‘grower’ Champagne. Grower Champagne is small-label, artisan bubbly that is produced using grapes grown on independent estates and private vineyards. The Champagnes they offer are not widely available in the UK and most are retailed in London exclusively at Champagne + Fromage. The Fromagerie has over 50 rotating French soft and hard cheeses from Brie to Comte, pungent Roquefort to creamy Camembert - delivered fresh every week. The venue is picturesque, with a beautiful rustic interior reminiscent of an antique French market.
Greenwich is home to the Royal Observatory, well known for its role in the history of astronomy and navigation. Take an amazing journey through the historic home of British astronomy, Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian of the World. Explore how pioneering scientists mapped the seas and the stars, stand astride two hemispheres on the Prime Meridian Line, see revolutionary inventions including the UK’s largest refracting telescope, and touch a 4.5 billion-year-old asteroid.
After exploring, travel the universe and experience the wonders of the night sky with expert commentary from Royal Observatory Astronomers at the Peter Harrison Planetarium, London's only planetarium. The shows allow guests to fly into the heart of the Sun, be transported to faraway galaxies, see the birth of a star and land on Mars.
This experience must be booked within 6 months of purchase, but you can choose to go any time within 1 year.
