Originally a private country house, the building was transformed into a palace by William III and Mary II in 1689. The palace is renowned for its architectural elegance, designed by the famous Sir Christopher Wren. Over the centuries, it has been the residence of notable royals including Queen Victoria, Princess Diana, and currently, members of the Royal Family. The palace is not only a private residence but also hosts exhibitions and holds a collection of royal fashion through the ages.
