This lovely stroll from Sir Christopher Wren’s mighty cathedral in the oldest part of the metropolis, the City of London, to the lights, shops and dazzle of Piccadilly Circus in the City of Westminster, takes you through tiny mediaeval streets and enormous Imperial thoroughfares. Travel from the earliest days of finance and journalism to the heady era of clubbing 1920s Soho, via some of the loveliest churches and vistas in London. The route changes according to the day and the clients: we can walk by the river or through the urban centre, or we can do it in reverse and do Piccadilly to St Paul’s.
