Cannock Chase is the UK’s best MTB course, and home to the popular ‘Follow the Dog’, ‘Monkey’ and ‘Stile Cop’ trails. Boasting a combination of natural, hand-built and contractor-made trails, each worms their way through the Staffordshire countryside as part of stunning Cannock Chase, the UK’s smallest designated Area of Natural Beauty. Enjoy two days of trail riding for two people, with top quality, highly maintained bikes and luxurious overnight accommodation to help you re-charge.
Follow the Dog is The Midlands’ first dedicated mountain bike trail. It is a red graded, 6.7 mile intermediate trail, compromising of a fast flowing single track with some tight and twisty technical sections.
The Monkey Trail is Follow the Dog’s lengthier counterpart. It as well is red graded, but with far more technically challenging climbs, descents and optional black graded lines. Prepare for technical trail features (TTF’s) including rock gardens, step ups and downs, water crossings, roots and rock.
Sister trail Stile Cop, features several extreme downhill trails and bike parks. Expect boardwalks and berms, jumps and drop-offs on this intense and trilling trail.
