Swinton Estate has over 1,000 years of history, evolving from a medieval hunting ground to one of England’s largest private estates. Spanning 20,000 acres, it includes Swinton Park, historic gardens, and countryside.

Home to the Danby, Cunliffe-Lister, and Earl of Swinton families, its Grade II listed* Swinton Park dates back to the 17th century, with later Georgian and Victorian expansions. During World War II, it was used as a military training centre before being restored by the Cunliffe-Lister family.
