Oak Island has been a subject for treasure hunters ever since the late 1700s, with rumours that Captain Kidd's treasure was buried there. Inspired by the chronicles, History Channel debuted it's multi-season series, The Curse of Oak Island, detailing the efforts of a team of treasure hunters searching for legendary treasure on the infamous island.
Now you too can explore the mysteries of Oak Island with the series crew Tony and Gary! Guests can look forward to a three-night stay in an executive suite at Oak Island Resort. This luxury hotel is well positioned to be the base for your adventure filled getaway.
You will set sail on a private boat tour of Oak Island where you will see the Island from the perspective of those who arrived on Oak Island first. Enjoy a private guided tour of the Oak Island museum with Gary, learning about the first settlers and the many tales of mystery that surround the area.
Explore the Halifax Maritime Museum of the Atlantic with a two hour private tour followed by an exclusive behind the scenes viewing of the SS Atlantic Museum and its artefacts. You will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to hold some of these historic artefacts in the palm of your hands.
To accompany the historic exploration, guests can expect inspired dining. On one day, travel to a private island where a private chef will greet you with a lobster boil lunch. Another highlight is a visit the legendary Mug and Anchor Pub, where the crew of the Oak Island Show gather to discuss their daily findings. Lastly over a private dinner at Matteus Bistro, you'll have the opportunity to get to know Tony and Gary, whilst gaining inside information about the island's history.
