With over 300sq miles (790sq km) of coastline, natural Atlantic reef and a strong maritime tradition, the Madeiran Islands have no shortage of excellent locations for big game fishing. Up to 200 different species of fish can be taken from the Portuguese waters including 1000lb (450kg) marlin and tuna as well as dorado and shark. These powerful migratory fish provide anglers with lots of action and for this you’ll need a boat to match. The custom built English charter you’ll fish from is designed by Allen Hill and moulded by Mitchell Mouldings in Essex, England. The boat comes fully equipped with fighting chair, riggers, rods and reels, lures and a 5x3 metre cockpit to give you plenty of room to relax in the Madeiran sun.
