Reviews

  • Exceptional

Wonderful food and service. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended

    Great experience overall

Lovely food and nice staff. Only issue was that despite telling Truly and the staff when we were there that my partner was a pescatarian, she was still served chicken.

  • Overpriced, average food, crappy service

To be honest I am pained to say that this meal was a big disappointment and did not warrant the close to £400 price tag. Many of the waiting staff were better suited to roles at the harvester, with a real lack of enthusiasm and knowledge of the food and wine. When you pay this sort of money I do not expect waiters who do not know the dishes they serve well. The host Fabio was very helpful, but our wine flight was forgotten, there was not eight courses and we were given the wrong food twice.

    Small pirtoon

Delicious flavours but portion small and would have expected some rice or naan with main dish!

  • Good food and atmosphere!

Good food and atmosphere! Slightly let down by service from one of the waitresses, who was rude and unhelpful.

    Incredible food!

Amazing venue, wonderful service and incredible food! However even the lowest priced 'house' wine was inappropriately expensive so for this reason alone I wouldn't class our overall experience as 'excellent'.

  • Excellent attention to detail

A very speical location with good food, excellent attention to detail from all the members of tthe team.

Most Authentic Indian Cuisine Outside of India

Being Indian, I am very critical about so called Indian restaurants in UK and found most of them serves very average quality of food, far away from a real Indian food. The quality of food served here was excellent and the best I have ever had outside of India. Thank you for helping me find this, Truly!

  • A Fine Venue to Celebrate an Anniversary

Went with my husband for an Anniversary dinner. The building firstly was gorgeous and intriguing, the restaurant has been put in very classily. I very much enjoyed all the food - I'd recommend. Truly's service was excellent too.

    A Perfect Evening

The staff who greeted us at the entrance were very polite and welcoming. Although we were a little early we were whisked to our table straight away, which was good.

The restaurant is very grand with lots of interesting features to discuss and admire.

The staff were friendly, very polite, and efficient. They took our order and served us all courses and drinks promptly, but at a really nice pace. We didn't feel hurried in any way.

The food itself was truly delicious. The portion sizes were very good. We left feeling full, but not too full. Just right!

There were certainly plenty of customers also enjoying dinner with us, so the atmosphere was buzzy and vibrant. We had a really enjoyable experience.
