In 1986, this esteemed company was recognised with the grant of a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, and once again in 2012 by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.
Barnard & Westwood welcomes you on a private and personal tour of their London workshop. A modest building, the workshop contains an extensive collection of historic printing machinery. Witness the operational process and the creation of hand-crafted works in motion. Discover how Barnard & Westwood has built its unrivalled reputation over time, through the printing of numerous prestigious works using a combination of traditional and modern printing techniques.
Following the behind-the-scenes tour, enjoy the unique and honourable opportunity to see how the notebooks are personalised by hand by experts, three of which you'll take home. Next, receive a personal consultation with an expert member of Barnard & Westwood's creative team, to design and personalise your own stationery set. The final set will be a unique collection, designed entirely by you and which includes letterheaded paper, tissue-lined envelopes, correspondence cards and correspondence card envelopes.
A broad range of customisation options are available from Barnard & Westwood's impressive and historic collection. Choose a choice of layouts, paper texture (smooth / laid), paper colours (8 to select from), fonts (10 to select from), font colours (8 to select from) and tissue lining colour (13 to select from). If more involved bespoke features are requested, Barnard & Westwood will be happy to provide a quote on the day to make your experience even more extraordinary.

Barnard & Westwood's workshop is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4pm, and Friday from 9am to noon.
Personalisation options included are: Texture of paper (smooth/ laid), fonts (selection of 10 fonts), paper colours (8 to select from), font colours (selection of 8 colours), layouts (resize and move text boxes), tissue lining colour (selection of 13 colours).
For any further bespoke aspects that the guest wishes to add, they can request a quote from Barnard & Westwood on the day, paying them the extra cost directly. This includes: gilded edges (ink, gold, silver), envelopes coloured to match paper, leather/linen diary/journal, quantities (can order more than the set 50 products included in the package), bespoke service (anything else changed to personal specifications).
Delivery to the client will be within 14 days, subject to personalisation selected. Note that deliveries outside the UK may carry a supplementary charge and may take longer.
All bookings are subject to availability. We advise booking at least three weeks in advance to guarantee the desired date and time.
