Step off the beaten track and join Walk Eat Talk Eat for a food tour around the very vibrant Portobello Road area and explore many of the secret spots that local Londoners love. You'll journey down the back streets, underneath one of London's oldest underground stations and past many incredible pieces of street art; perhaps Banksy rings a bell? And of course - all served with a side helping of history!
The best – and most delicious – way to learn about London and its food is to take to the streets on a guided tour with Walk Eat Talk Eat. Since their inception in 2011, they have guided thousands of people - introducing them to independent places, with personality, passion and brilliant food. Your three-hour tour will begin in Ladbroke Grove then stroll down Portobello Road and end up in the very fancy Notting Hill area. The guides have been fine-tooth combing the area for the last decade, to ensure you skip the tourist haunts and visit only the best places. Whilst trying amazing food, you will learn about the history of the area which is home to the largest antique market in the world, colourful art, fashion, architecture and iconic movie locations immortalised here on film. There will be plenty of time to walk, talk, eat and simply let yourself get drawn in by this incredible area. You will finish just in front of Kensington Palace and who knows, you might even be able to say hello to the royals.
