Each participant receives a curated selection of premium wines, carefully chosen to showcase different regions, grape varieties, and unique winemaking styles. The virtual tour delves into the stories behind each wine, revealing what makes each bottle distinct—from terroir and climate to the hands-on expertise of winemakers. The Virtual World Wine Tour Wine Tasting is a series of 3 wine tastings, each featuring 6 fine wines, presented by Gilbert Winfield, a WSET qualified wine educator. It is suitable for anyone from beginner to enthusiast. In all, 18 wines will be tasted throughout the course. The course is divided into 3 sections:
- Wine Styles - Introductory course on the styles of wine around the world
- White World Wine Tour - Tour the major white wine-producing countries
- Red World Wine Tour - Tour the major red wine-producing countries
Each course can be done on its own, you decide which one you want to join, and on what date, or as a set of 2 or 3.

As a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and a judge at the International Wine Challenge, Gilbert brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He holds a Level 4 Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and boasts significant experience in renowned wine regions such as France, Italy, and South Africa. Gilbert's approach to wine education is both engaging and humorous, making it accessible and enjoyable for attendees of all levels.
His courses, known for their entertaining and enlightening style, effectively demystify the complexities of wine, ensuring that every session is both fun and informative.

The experience takes place on Fridays at 7:30pm. It takes about 1.5 hours.
