MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Completed in 1708 after 32 years of work, St. Paul’s Cathedral and its imposing Dome has become a defining symbol of London. The impressive construct built by the country’s most famous architect, Christopher Wren, sits on Ludgate Hill at the highest point of the City of London. An award-winning blogger and passionate history expert, having Katie as your private guide makes for a more personalized experience, ensuring you don’t miss out on any of the highlights of this iconic London landmark.

Visit the crypt with its memorials and monuments – including the tombs of military heroes Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington. See the fabulously painted dome, the beautiful wooden choir stalls and the glittering mosaics. Experience the setting for the marriage of Prince Charles to Diana in 1981 and the funeral of Winston Churchill in 1965. Both iconic events in British history, held in this baroque masterpiece.

Your guided tour finishes with a 257 step climb to the Whispering Gallery, given its name because if you talk close to the wall, your words will carry to the opposite side, 32m away. A further 119 steps bring you to the exterior Stone Gallery, 152 iron steps above which is the Golden Gallery at the very top. Marvel at the unforgettable sweeping views of London, one of the finest viewing points in the city.
