MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

One of the most iconic sites of London, taking a tour of Westminster Abbey is like taking a walk through British history.

Built in the 10th century, the remarkable building has hosted every coronation since 1066, as well other iconic events such as Princess Diana’s funeral and William and Kate’s wedding. Today it is the final resting place of 17 monarchs and as a result, has special significance as a structure of national importance.

During your private tour, your guide will immerse you in the Abbey’s rich history, telling tales of famous scientists, actors and politicians. Pay a visit to the Coronation Chair, one of the most famous pieces of furniture in the world and the centrepiece of coronations for over 700 years. Experience Poet’s Corner, where over 100 poets and writers are buried or have memorials, including William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and CS Lewis.
