MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

The Scots have Scotch. The French, wine. Russians have Vodka. In America, it’s all about the Bourbon. Known as “America’s Native Spirit,” 95% of the world’s iconic caramel-coloured spirit is distilled, aged and bottled in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. Bourbon is part of the culture of the American South; there is a history and heritage present with generations of Kentuckians.

The Kentucky Bourbon Trail follows a triangle of distilleries throughout the Bluegrass State. You’ll tour ten Kentucky Bourbon distilleries; Evan Williams Experience, Bulliet Frontier, Jim Beam’s American Stillhouse, Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center, Maker’s Mark, Four Roses, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve, AllTech’s Town Branch Distillery and the off-the-beaten track distillery of legendary Buffalo Trace; the creators behind Sazerac, W.L. Weller, Pappy, George T. Stagg and Colonel E. H. Taylor bourbons.

On this unique getaway, you'll see Louisville’s last remaining distillery on ‘Whiskey Row’, walk on sacred Stitzel Weller ground where Pappy Juice was first stilled, learn Fred Noe’s famous tasting technique the ‘Kentucky Chew’, explore Bardstown, the “Bourbon Capital of the World”, taste Bourbon in a man-size barrel, dip your own souvenir bottle wax tops, dip your own fingers into the mash fermentation tanks, marvel at “the house that Jimmy built”, discover the oldest and the smallest distilleries in Kentucky, and meet the legends behind the world’s first single-barrel bourbon; Blanton’s.

Each night you will unwind with luxurious stays along the route. Everything will be taken care of, including chauffeured luxury car service to each distillery.
