Description
The Great Barrier Reef extends further than the Great Wall of China, and is the world’s largest living organism. It is included in the seven wonders of the natural world. The 2000km stretch of colourful coral and abundant wildlife is perhaps the most iconic and indescribably spectacular marine landscape on earth.
The Great Barrier Reef is a fisherman’s paradise. The remote location of this private island escape provides an abundance of marine life, guaranteeing an eventful spearfishing experience. All levels of spear fishermen will enjoy a unique day out on the reefs, with equipment provided. The island supports sustainable living and marine protection, encouraging a catch-and-keep programme. Diving for a healthy haul of what will likely be your dinner, seek out species such as Coral Trout, Fingermark and Spanish Mackerel.
All snorkelling and diving excursions are included. From the shores of your private island retreat, you’ll be within sight of the famed Great Barrier Reef. The island, surrounded by an expansive coral ecosystem, provides tranquil waters and perfect snorkelling conditions. Reefs around the private island are untouched. Float over the top of florescent gardens, or plunge into caverns formed over millions of years.
Venturing further by boat, you’ll reach vibrant, undisturbed reef with over 1,500 species of fish. Snorkelling and scuba diving here is truly romantic; swim side-by-side with manta rays, dwarf minke whales and graceful green loggerhead turtles.
