Reviews

  • Great day

A great visit. Thanks for the steer to get there at 9.30 not 11.00. Gave us enough time to really enjoy.

    Great experience

What a wonderful day. We arrived at the Churchill war rooms as advised at 09.30am due to potential queues, but because we had already downloaded our tickets we were able to bypass the long wait. Really interesting tour around the war rooms. We then took a stroll through the park heading towards the Westbury. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is amazing. Great experience!

  • Truly amazing day in London

War rooms were absolutely fascinating, followed by a lovely walk via St James park to Mayfair. The lunch at Alyn Williams was gorgeous, lovely surroundings, beautiful food, great service from the ladies & gentlemen that looked after us. Would highly recommend for a lovely gift.

    Great overall

The team was very speedy and very helpful with me making my booking, and any questions.
It was a gift for a friend. It was beautifully wrapped and presented.
The only suggestion I would have is the Churchill war rooms, it said on the ticket go to the entrance with your signed ticket. We thought this meant we would go to the front of the queue, as we had already booked. The queue was massive to get in, and they were all visitors that hadn't pre booked.
Luckily the guy on the door was very helpful and let us in before the queues, so we are very grateful to him. Otherwise if we did have to queue we would have missed the meal we had of booked. Or missed the experience and just gone for the lunch. So might be worth making people aware that they need to still queue.

  • Overall Very Good

The Michelin Star Dining for Two was excellent. The only problem with the Churchill War Rooms was that our tickets did not give us priority access and we had to queue for 30mins.

    A Grand Day Out!

Churchill War Rooms were fascinating and lunch at the Westbury was delicious. A super day out.

  • Great day out

Could have done with more time at Museum very good meal

    Memorable

Well organised and an enjoyable present

  • Fantastic experience

The whole experience was fantastic, our only issue was there was an hour plus wait to get access at the War rooms, even though we had our tickets we were not allowed through the fast track lane. we had gone early to spend time in the Churchill museum but lost the extra time queuing so had to skip the museum. The meal at the Westbury was fantastic, staff were excellent and the whole experience was great

    Good day out in London

Churchill visit better experience than anticipated. Lunch excellent

  • Wonderful day out in London

Although the experience wasn't for myself, I am reliably informed that everything was perfect. The war rooms were thoroughly interesting and lunch was superb. Thank you very much.

    Excellent

The visit exceeded our expectations. We allowed for two hours at the War Rooms before departing for the pre-booked lunch at the Westbury, which was superb, but could have spent up to another hour in the Museum section. All in all a wonderful experience and very well organised by you.

  • Great meals, excellent explanation by restaurant chef

Barring the weather, the whole day was reasonable. We should have allocated more time to view the war rooms. Apart from the "bites", we thought the other three courses of the meal were great. Finally, we thought that the little explanation given by the M restaurant chef about the meats was excellent.
