Description

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bath is a unique city of great beauty and even greater history, from the magnificence of Bath Abbey to the Georgian, honey-gold Bath stone of the Royal Crescent.

Opening in Bath in 2013, the iconic Two Tunnels cycle route is a fantastic 13 mile cycling link between Central Bath, Midford, Monkton Combe and beyond. The route takes you from the centre of historic Bath and through the two famous tunnels: the Devonshire Tunnel at Bloomfield and the Combe Down Tunnel at Combe Down, and over the spectacular Tucking Mill Viaduct and past the Dundas Aqueduct on the Kennet & Avon Canal, until you are back alongside the River Avon, closely following it back into Bath.

The Combe Down Tunnel, at an impressive 1.03 miles, is the UK's, and possibly Europe's, longest cycle tunnel. Travelling through the Combe Down Tunnel for the first time is an incredible experience – the extraordinary audio-visual art installation igniting the senses.

During your time in Bath, you’ll stay for two nights at Grays Boutique B&B. Grays is a beautiful, family-run boutique hotel overlooking the historic centre of Bath and as such offers a lovely warm welcome, local knowledge and friendly, personal service. A Victorian villa, Grays blends the building’s original character and antique furniture with modern comforts and design. Each of the 12 rooms are individually decorated and designed in eclectic fashion with all the comfort of a small luxury hotel while retaining its intimate, homely feel.

Enjoy breakfast on each morning served in the light-filled, welcoming breakfast room with lovely garden views. Breakfast offers plenty of choice, whether Continental, traditional full English or a combination, all freshly cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients.
