Founded in 2015 by husband and wife team, June and Cameron McCann, Stirling Distillery started as a project of passion and has evolved into a national treasure. By 2018, the local “Old Smiddy” was converted into Stirling's first legal distillery.
Having produced some impressive gins, Stirling Distillery is now turning their hand to whisky. Drawing on Cameron’s knowledge from working in the whisky industry and running whisky shops in Stirling, the team are creating two single cask whiskies. These are named after Stirlingshire distilleries which were in operation in the 18th and early 19th century - Cashly and Arngibbon. The couple are making their mark and starting a new chapter in Stirling’s whisky history while celebrating the area’s rich whisky making heritage.
