Stirling Gin takes its name from the pretty Scottish city its founders, The McCann's, call home. The spirit captures a hint of locality, by infusing Stirlingshire foraged nettles and dried basil to form a calm twist on classic gin. A visit to the distillery promises an in-depth insight into the history of gin and how it is created. To end off the tour, taste their latest poison, Battle Strength Gin.
Situated at the foot of Stirling's beautiful castle, the distillery's beautiful Victorian building has existed since 1888. Take a deep dive into the history and science behind gin making - on a Battle Strength Gin Tour. Upon arrival at the distillery, you will be welcomed with a bespoke cocktail a guided tour of the stunning Victorian building. Hear about the renovation and how the team developed Stirling Gin and renovated the local 'Old Smiddy' building into the current day distillery.Tour the still room, bottling and packaging space while gaining in-depth insight into how gin is created and distilled. After this you will be directed to their unique tasting tables where you will be shown how to make the perfect G&T. Taste Stirlings stunning gin liqueurs, The Red Cap and The Green Lady, and learn about the mythology and history behind their names. To finish up, enjoy a generous sample of the distillery's latest creation, Battle Strength Gin. The perfect experience for gin lovers to sample new gins and learn the history behind their favourite spirit.
