Description

Ignite your sense of adventure with a three day ice driving break in Sweden. This break offers the perfect blend of traditional and indulgent relaxation in Stockholm, followed by adrenaline-pumping racing in Sweden’s lake district,.

With decades of rich culture, and the purest air and water of all of Europe's capital cities, Stockholm is the perfect place to recharge. Stay in the heart of the city, just minutes away from world class shopping and entertainment, as well as the historic sites of Old Town, and indulge in a Michelin-starred tasting menu dinner for two.

From Stockholm, you'll fly North West, journeying deep into Sweden’s frosty wilderness to the popular alpine town of Åre.

Ice driving is a technique used by F1 drivers and car manufacturers to test cars to their limits. Engines at the ready, you'll experience the testing thrill of ice driving, a technique used by F1, rally and car manufacturers to test vehicles to their limits. You'll witness the untouched side of Mount Åre, advocated by the late Colin McRae, where many World Rally championship teams choose to test their vehicles due to its extreme conditions.

The ice track is carved and shaped onto the lake and provides a variety of training circuits and slaloms. Drivers will warm up on these inner circuits and move onto the narrow, more technically demanding 6km lake stage over the course of the day.

With 380 – 1100 studs on each tyre, you will develop control and sharpen your line at the helm of a competition prepared rally Porsche 911. Drivers are encouraged to push the car to its limit with first-hand instruction from a team of world-class rally driving professionals, which in the past has included the likes of Martin Rowe, former World and multiple British rally champion.

Once you’ve had your fill of petrol, experience a snowmobile safari through the mountainous landscape before being transported back by private car to your lodge where a welcome bottle of champagne will be waiting in your room. You will have full use of spa facilities including an outdoor hut tub, before savouring a warming three-course gourmet dinner. The perfect way to end a thrilling weekend away in Sweden.

Reviews

  • The Perfect Annual Getaway

I would certainly love to return and make an annual trip out of this. The venue is a good, the food was top notch, as were all the staff involved. Rooms are perfectly comfortable and clean and fit for the purpose and all have brilliant views.

    Exceeded Expectations

This was possibly the best gift I have ever been given. It was more fun than I thought it would be, and I already had very high expectations, the hotel was clean, all the staff were professional and polite, the food was a lot nicer than I was expecting, and of course I thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. I would love to do it all again, very highly recommended.
