Description

Ollie Dabbous opened his eponymous restaurant in January 2012. Three days later, Fay Maschler referred to Dabbous as a game changer. Critics from all major newspapers have continued to lavish praise on the chef, and his innovative, contemporary dishes. Shortly after this remarkable review came a Michelin star, as well as Tatler’s Best Restaurant award.

Ollie Dabbous’ culinary C.V. reads like a who’s who of international cuisine. Aside from a number of other multi-michelin starred restaurants, Dabbous spent time at three restaurants which have appeared at the top of Restaurant Magazine’s 50 Best list – El Celler de Can Roca, Noma and The Fat Duck.

With mixologist and business partner Oskar Kinberg, Dabbous is constantly tweaking the menu to keep up with the seasons. The industrially-inspired dining room incorporates the hallmarks of contemporary design; single filament lightbulbs, exposed concrete, wrought iron and dark wood. Dabbous describes the room as masculine, an intentional juxtaposition for the delicate and precisely composed cuisine for which the restaurant has come to be known.

This four course lunch is the perfect opportunity to sample Dabbous’ cooking at its best. Light, fresh and with clean flavours presented in dishes such as Moscatel grapes with lovage & almond milk, the Chef draws on his international experience to present a unique style of food to London.

  • Go!

    Wonderful food and great service!

    Fantastic day.

We had a fantastic time. The food was wonderful, the presentation was stunning. The staff were also amazing.

  • Highly recommended

Fabulous cocktails, amazing food and great staff. The restaurant messed up on one of our courses (we didn't mind) but they felt so bad we ended up with 6 courses and a taster of all the desserts! Would definitely go back

    Great Dining

    God service excellent food

  • 5 Stars

Excellent food, lovely staff - highly recommend

    My truly experience

The food was fabulous - a creative menu with dishes full of colours and tastes to inspire my taste buds. Attentive staff who explained each dish.

  • Fantastic experience, seamless organisation.

A fantastic experience, everything ran smoothly and according to plan - the restaurant staff were expecting us, and were incredibly pleasant and efficient. Good contact with concierge beforehand, theyr were very helpful with date changes etc.

Superb food and personal approach to service

We were given this experience as a wedding gift and it was fantastic! The food was on a level of it's own, each course was a masterpiece.

  • Excellent food

Excellent food. And they took on my special request to help celebrate my mum's birthday by giving her a special dessert with a candle on it. Subtle and wonderful.

    Very good

On the basis nothing obtains 100% score the rating should be very good instead of just good.

  • Great service

We were running a little bit late as we couldn't find the restaurant and walked up and down the road. Rang them and they said 'no problem'.

    Excellent food, service and atmosphere

Excellent food and service. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The only fault was the tables are a bit "sticky". Not unhygienic but made of a timber material like found in old pubs. A bit annoying.

  • The food was excellent

The food was excellent and we had a very enjoyable time. Minor negatives were: 1) we were allocated a poor table in the restaurant (right by the front door and alongside the "reception" desk. 2) One of the waitresses was quite cold and not very pleasant to deal with (everyone else we met was lovely) 3). It was a 30th Birthday meal and we thought this may have been recognised by a small gesture, such as a little cake. However despite those minor critical comments, we still enjoyed the meal very much.

    A truly memorable experience

The meal was delicious, the service was outstanding and it was a truly memorable experience for us both. We had been hoping to go there for a while so thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to actually go!

  • We had a splendid meal

We had a splendid meal with good service. By sharing courses we tried everything on the set menu. Whilst we did not like absolutely everything some courses were exceptional.

    Very friendly staff

Very friendly staff and the food was interesting and good; every course was explained.

  • Truly memorable experience!

It was a wonderful lunch and a truly memorable experience. Boy was I stuffed!
