3-Day Spa Retreat with Elegant Dining at Six Senses Douro Valley

Located in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site, Douro Valley, the new Six Senses resort reflects the romance of 19th-century architecture, with contemporary interiors indicative of Six Senses style. The River Douro winds through the valley; the oldest wine-producing region in the world. The resort features three restaurants, a dedicated wine cellar featuring vintages from the valley, and a stunning Six Senses Spa. It is the perfect place to unwind, as well as learning the winemaking trade.

The Six Senses Spa is a definite highlight of the resort. It occupies an impressive 24,000 square feet and is comprised of 10 treatment rooms, a heated indoor pool with water jets, a heated outdoor pool and refreshment bar, and a gym with the latest equipment and professional guidance.

Dining options at the resort are a celebration of the region, with much of the produce coming from the surrounding countryside. An organic vegetable and herb garden is located on the estate, where fresh ingredients are harvested daily.
