Suffolk's charming seaside town has been home to Adnams Southwold since its incorporation in 1890, where it now produces some of Britain's best-loved ales. This Adnams tour allows two people behind the scenes, to explore the creation of favourites such as Adnams Bitter, Broadside, Regatta, and more. An ideal gift for any beer lover.

Your tour of the Adnams brewery will cover all aspects of their legendary ales. Discover how a refreshing pint of Adnams is created, from choosing the best malted barley and hops to mastering the brewing process. During this hour-long journey you will see parts of the Southwold brewery that are normally out-of-bounds to the general public, where the sheer scale of the equipment is a sight to behold.

Your Adnams brewery tour will finish in the tasting rooms, where everything that you've learned will come together in a tutored beer tasting session witjh Adnams Head Brewer, Fergus. Now a fully qualified Master Brewer, Fergus took over as Head Brewer in 2009 and is a man with an innate curiosity about beer styles and ingredients that has led to a range of fascinating and innovative beer ranges from Adnams. Lasting about 30 minutes, the tasting allows you the great pleasure of sampling some of Adnams award-winning and experimental beers.

You will spend the night in a hotel situated right by the Adnams Southwold Brewery. This 4-star establishment in the heart of Southwold is the ideal base for the complete Adnams experience, with no fewer than 5 Adnams pubs within walking distance. Dinner in the hotel's AA-accredited restaurant is also included, along with a hearty breakfast the following morning.

Suggested Itinerary For The Trip:

• Day one: Arrival and check-in to the hotel followed by dinner
• Day two: Private tour of brewery and individual sightseeing of Southwold
• Day three: Check-out and departure home

• Bookings are subject to availability. We advise booking at least 4 weeks in advance to guarantee the desired dates

• The tour takes approximately 1 hour and is followed by a tutored 30 minutes beer tasting. Minimum age is 18 years.
• Please state any dietary requirements at the time of booking as not all of diets can be catered for, without advance notice.
• Price for the additional guests can be quoted upon request.
• Please note no cancellations or amendments to bookings can be made once trip is confirmed due to the nature of this experience. In exceptional circumstances, rescheduling fees will apply.
