Sit down to afternoon tea at the heart of hotel, in The Drawing Rooms. In a light and airy patisserie lounge, adorned with deep sofas and studded velvet armchairs, you’ll be presented with an exploration of delectable science. Choose from a great selection of teas, brought to your table with a show of smoky volcanic dry ice, and enjoy delicious savouries such as truffle and mushroom tart and smoked salmon with avocado on blinis.

This is followed by decadent scones with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade strawberry preserve, which you get to flavour with an assortment of toppings using test tubes. For dessert, expect planet mousse, a chocolate spaceman, macarons and a half-moon cake! To top it off, a dinosaur biscuit and milk chocolate fossil both buried in an earth-like cocoa powder for an sweet archeological treat.
