WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

Despite the lack of snow in the UK, there is still the opportunity to go sledding with Huskyhaven in Scotland. The small kennel of pure-breed Siberian huskies gives guests the ultimate sledding experience with wheels replacing the runners. Based on the outskirts of Stonehaven, the unique trails are the perfect location to tick one off the bucket list. The Aurora trail is a demanding one, but the experience and sights are well worth it. Spend time with these majestic creatures in an unforgettable experience.

MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Guests have the opportunity to meet the team of Siberian huskies, visit the kennels with audio and visual presentations and also get the privilege to run a team of dogs. The Aurora Experience is approximately two to three hours and includes a seven mile trail where guests may be lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) on a clear night. The trail is not for the fainthearted and can be quite physically demanding, but the most fulfilling experience and breathtaking views from the top of the trail. Dress up warm as temperatures drop at the summit, but hot drinks and snacks will be provided to help warm you up and sustain energy levels.
