MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Global events have seen many of us looking for ways to become more self-sustainable, and there’s been a huge upsurge in home gardens. Whether this is a full garden, an allotment, or small pots on window shelves, learning how to cultivate a piece of ground that can produce wonderfully tasty and healthy food is a skill worth having these days.

The deep appreciation for the wonders of nature inspires the Le Manoir team and their sheer love of gardening is something to behold. You’ll be privy to some of the best-kept secrets of experienced master gardeners and, by the end of the masterclass, you’ll have the working knowledge you need to grow healthy food in your own backyard.

Your adventure will begin in the organic kitchen garden, an amazing vegetable and herb space covering two acres. More than 90 different vegetables and 70 herbs are produced here, and you’ll be under the watchful eye of Anne Marie Owens, the Head Gardener.

Use the tried and tested techniques from your teachers to learn everything there is to know about keeping your own garden. From composting through to planting, growing, picking, and cooking, you’ll leave with invaluable insight into ethical farming and the tools you need to grow your own food for healthier eating.

If you want to nurture your love of gardening, this is the most desirable way to spend over five hours of your time.
