Martin Wishart is an award winning chef having opened three restaurants, two of which hold Michelin stars. In 2010 he was awarded AA "Chef of the Year".
In 1999 Martin Wishart opened his Edinburgh restaurant and was awarded a Michelin star in 2001. His Loch Lomond venture was awarded a Michelin star in 2011. He is one of the UK's most renowned chefs having trained under chef such as chefs Albert Roux, Marco Pierre White, and Nick Nairn among others.

Martin Wishart opened his first restaurant in the historic Port of Leith in 1999. He followed the successful venture with a restaurant in the Cameron House Hotel in Loch Lomond which has since earned a Michelin star. His most recent venture is The Honours, a brasserie located in the centre of Edinburgh.
