Description

South American food has officially swept London. At the forefront of that movement has been Argentina native Chef Diego Jacquet and his neighbourhood restaurant located near Marble Arch. Zoilo is the perfect playground from which Chef Jacquet showcases his innovative take on 'cocina Argentina'.

Jacquet honed his craft working under world-renowned chefs; including Marcus Samuelsson of double-Michelin starred Aquavit restaurant in New York, and Ferran Adria of El Bulli in Roses. And it is this education that allowed the chef to produce deceivingly-complex food, with utmost refinement.

Your experience will begin with a welcoming signature cocktail or aperitif – the Mr. Hendricks comes highly recommended – as well as a series of small sharing plates such as Queso de Chancho and Provoleta. The culinary experience continues with unique dishes including Humita and Crab; described by food critic Giles Coren as “sublime”.

You’ll be served the 'Asado'; a grilled flank steak with bone marrow jus. Follow dinner with the cult hit dulce de leche crème brûlée, served with banana split ice cream. An indulgent finish to this unique reinterpretation on Argentinian cuisine.

    Excellent meal

Excellent service, all the nine dishes were delicious, and the wine was very good. Lovely atmosphere too.

  • Would definitely go back!

All the food was great apart from the fish course. They served octopus which was a let down but apart from that it was a fantastic evening. Thank you

    Food and service outstanding

The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I will certainly be eating there again

  • Faultless experience

Incredible service. Very personal. Took amazing care of us. Both Truly and Zoilo gave first class customer service.

    Argentinian Tapas taster menu

Both Truly and Zoilo couldn't have done more to make our evening better. The food and drinks were delicious, service flawless and setting very cosy. Fab evening, thanks.

  • The service was incredible

The service was incredible, above and beyond and the food was delicious.

    Food super tasty

Experience was 9 out of 10. Food super tasty, and staff very friendly, with waiting staff genuinely nice. But personally I prefer normal table sitting than bar stools.

  • Great food, great service

Great food. Great service. And made me a cocktail off the menu! Exceeded expectations. Will definitely return.

    The steak is sensational

Incredible food (the steak is sensational), highly attentive staff and great atmosphere.

  • Overall a truly great experience

Great food, very friendly service and overall a truly great experience.

    Amazing wines

Food and drink was great (amazing Malbec for house red!), atmosphere very nice. A great gift experience.

  • It was fabulous!

The 10 course tapas menu is a shared tasting menu rather than small tapas dishes that we were expecting. It was fabulous! The chef and staff we friendly and we would certainly go there again.

    Great food

Nice atmosphere, great food, friendly/knowledgeable staff. We also needed to move our booking last-minute due to train delays, and Zoilo were very accommodating and understanding.

  • Would absolutely dine there again

My husband I were given this dinner as a Christmas gift so we did not know what to expect. The food was delicious and the timing of when each course was presented was perfect. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Also the setting/atmosphere was very romantic, but relaxed. Great for a date night. The Mr. Hendrick's cocktail was delightful as well as the bouche amuse with pear and duck liver pate. I would absolutely dine there again and have already signed up for another experience with TRULY.
