Near Edinburgh’s notable Royal Mile at the top of the Mound, Whiski Rooms is a timeless bar and restaurant overlooking the centre of Edinburgh, with ornate, wooden panelling, a handsome, modern bar, three inter-linked units, a specialist whisky shop and a tasting room. The drinks menu boasts more than 300 malts and blended whiskies, alongside cocktails, wines and an array of Scottish craft beers. A friendly, whisky expert takes you through the production, maturation and bottling process, with the aim of highlighting 4 single malt whiskies, each paired with a distinctive cheese from the local monger. For an hour, your hosts present drams of premium whisky in a fun, informative and engaging way. It’s an intimate, quaint yet classy experience showcasing only the best the country has to offer.
