“It was my first time flying and my instructor allowed me to have control pretty much the whole flight so I could get a real feel for flying. Will be looking to return soon - what a great experience!” Flying Magazine
Why we love it
There is a great pleasure in being airborne: rising above the hustle and bustle of the busy world into a quiet, empty sky. These days, it seems that experiences are starting to become more important than material possessions as we strive to do things that make us feel alive. What better way to explore the adventure of life than to try your hand at piloting a plane? James Bond said it all - SKYFALL.

Description
If you’ve seen Top Gun, you’ll have wanted to fly an aircraft at some stage in your life. A far cry from a fighter jet, but full of exhilaration nonetheless, the two-seater plane will provide you with the opportunity to manoeuvre a machine through the skies.
Over 90 minutes, you will receive an intensive ground school briefing for up to 30 minutes, before taking to the sky for 50 minutes of flight time. The plane has two seats, meaning one for the instructor and one for you.
After a comprehensive briefing, including safety checks, ground and airborne emergency drills and aircraft information, you’ll then be shown how to operate the controls of the plane. As a co-pilot, you’ll be responsible for knowing and communicating who has control, as well as the location of other aircraft in the sky.
As a pilot, you will take over the controls and fly the plane through the air, truly getting a feel of what it means to be a pilot. Once back on the ground, you’ll receive a certificate of achievement and post-flight debrief followed by the chance to ask any further questions about your experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to log your two hours of flying time in your log book with your instructor which will contribute towards your PPL.
