Description
Shortened to ‘EBC’, Everest Base Camp is one of the most renowned treks in the world. With spectacular views of the Himalayan valleys, peaceful prayer flags swaying in the wind and cosy teahouses en route, this trek is a once in a lifetime experience.
Graduating from 2 860 metres to 5 380 metres above sea level comes with its fair share of altitude adjustments. Experienced and professional guides offer support and guidance regarding all aspects of the adventure, and are each highly skilled, safety trained and government certified.
Trekking Guide Team Adventure provides a truly memorable experience of the world’s tallest mountain, starting with a night at the Everest View Hotel, where the vistas of the Himalayan range have been described as ‘breath-taking’.
Ascending over five days to Base Camp, staying in authentic Nepali homes along the way, the trek culminates with the arrival at Everest Base Camp. After spending some time chatting to other trekkers and sherpas, the descent is one of ease and relaxation. A beautiful scenic helicopter ride takes guests down to the Kathmandu Hotel, the accommodation for the evening.
It has been said that there are few other natural wonders to behold above that of the great Mount Everest. To experience her up close and personal, walking her roots and relishing her majesty, is truly formidable: an adventure not to be missed.
