Description
Celebrating the very best of traditional Indian cuisine, Michelin-starred Chef Atul Kochhar has brought refined Indian fare to the quintessential Buckinghamshire village of Marlow.
Set in what feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of London life, this sophisticated Indian restaurant boasts an opulent yet relaxed atmosphere for diners to unwind in. With a beautiful backdrop overlooking the serene River Thames coupled with the swish wood-panelled interior and real log fire, the setting lends to the sense of occasion.
The tasting menu has been specially designed by head chef Gopal Krishnan who, like Atul, undertook his culinary education in his native India with vigorous training through the Taj hotel enterprise, and has gone on to work in the kitchens of London’s Mint Leaf and Tamarind.
Enjoy a special gastronomic voyage through India and beyond as part of a seven-course tasting menu, sampling innovative dishes such as ‘Atlantic halibut, asparagus, and tamarind’ or the ‘Romney Marsh lamb cutlet with polenta and kachumbar’.
