Learn about the equipment and tools commonly used by beekeepers, and get your first glimpse at the Queen Bee’s hive. Then it’s time to suit up in a professional beekeeping suit for a proper hive inspection, where you’ll help Hiver’s Beekeeper handle the frames and check the health of the hive.

Buzzing with excitement, it’s time to retreat to Albourne Estate’s winery tasting room, situated in a renovated old Sussex dairy, for a relaxed but informative tutored beer and food matching session. Savour the golden flavours of Hiver’s three award-winning honey beers, using locally sourced raw honey from independent British beekeepers.
