A pioneer in her field, Diana Yukawa, Japanese-born British violinist, composer and dynamic performer is a prodigious talent. Her revolutionary sound has catalysed a successful career resulting in contracts with both BMG, Sony Music and her own Indie label, Longbody Music and the release of five solo albums earning her recognition as one of the UK's top artists.
Born in Tokyo just three weeks after the 1985 Japan Airlines disaster that took her father's life. Her mother brought her to London as a baby which has been her home ever since. Diana started playing the violin at the age of five, released her debut album at 14 and had the pleasure of studying under the late, great master, Ruggiero Ricci as well as distinguished professors such as Maurice Hasson, Hu Kun, Rodney Friend and Natasha Boyarsky. She has branched out from the classics and has shown how diverse an instrument the violin is. Her music is cutting edge, innovative and modern and enthrals audiences all over the world.
The award-winning musician has performed solo captivating audiences with her refreshing, electronic classical sound at the Royal Albert Hall, Hollywood Bowl Latitude Festival, Place des Art and the Burj Dubai.
