Reviews

  • Irish whiskey resurgence

The host was brilliant superbly entertaining and informative great insight to great Irish whishies.

Fun, Insightful and tasty evening of whiskey!

We arrived just before 7pm expecting the bar to be busy and struggle to find a seat, however it turned out that we were the only two to have the masterclass! It was perfect. My Dad and I sat at the bar and were handed a whiskey sour to begin with to get us going whilst we stared at the incredible selection of spirits they have to offer.

The gentleman who took us through our whiskey tasting was incredibly well educated on the subject and gave us lots of insightful facts into the Irish whiskey trade.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience and we'll be sure to check out the gin/rum bar that they have just up the road.

  • Great Experience

Kieran was very knowledgable and allowed us to try a vast range of whiskeys. The evening was great

Would def recommend and will be going back with friends

    Fun and interesting night

The truly staff who set up the booking were great: very friendly, quick and responding and I never had any doubts/concerns that it would all run smoothly. The venue was cosy and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. The whisky tasting itself was great: the masterclass teacher knew absolutely everything about whisky and it was all very interesting. The balance between providing interesting facts and the experience not being too intensely about learning was perfect. The person who took our class was Emily and she was very knowledgable and friendly.

  • Lovely birthday experience for a whiskey lover

Imie (our host) was warm and friendly. We tasted a fabulous range of whiskies - all very different and thoroughly enjoyable. Great to have the bar to ourselves too!
