Situated in the centre of the garden front, the views lead out into the sheltered slopes of the Pleasure Grounds, looking directly towards the sensational Cascade. Winner of Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2013 at Andrew Harper’s Grand Awards, the historic State dining room will host your dinner for both evenings of your stay, preceded by a drinks reception in the 80 foot long, grand library. Ballyfin’s menu is decorated with an abundance of hand-reared and conscientiously sourced ingredients, always following their strict mantra; ‘local, natural and seasonal’. The beef is Irish Black Dexter from Co. Offaly, the lamb reared from the Comeragh Mountain and the fish from Castletownbere, renowned as perhaps the freshest seafood available in Ireland.
