Spitfire Passenger Flight From Cotswold Airport

Departing from RAF Kemble (Cotswold Airport), this 30-minute flight offers breathtaking views of the picturesque Cotswold countryside. Participants can plan their flight with the pilot, choosing from sightseeing, gentle aerobatics, or even flying over their own home (if within range). 

The experience includes a pre-flight briefing, covering safety, equipment, and an introduction to the aircraft. Once airborne, you’ll have the chance to take the controls under expert guidance, with the famous Merlin V12 engine roaring in the background. The highlight of the flight is the Spitfire Victory Roll, a manoeuvre that captures the spirit of aviation history.

This experience is available: on selected Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from April to September.

Bookings are subject to availability. We advise booking at least 2 months in advance to guarantee the desired date and time.

Flight time is ‘chock to chock’ and includes taxiing time, airborne time is approximately 20 minutes. 

You can upgrade to Fly friends and family alongside your Spitfire in a modern Chase Plane (additional charge applies).
