WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
Walk in the footsteps of champions at Royal Lytham & St Annes, one of golf’s most iconic Open venues, for an unforgettable two-night stay and play experience.

MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Head to one of the world’s most historic and challenging links, Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, for a golf break that blends championship heritage with timeless hospitality. Guests will enjoy two rounds of play on the hallowed visitor green tees, combined with a two-night stay in the club’s own Dormy House, complete with hearty breakfasts and evening dinners.
Founded in 1886, Royal Lytham & St Annes has long been regarded as one of the finest links in the world. The course has hosted eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups, and numerous other major tournaments, all while maintaining its reputation for warmth and welcome.
The layout remains true to the original design of George Lowe, with subtle refinements by the great Harry Colt in 1919. The result is a course admired for its precision and strategy, famously defended by more than 200 bunkers that test even the greatest golfers.
Ryder Cup captain Mark James once described Royal Lytham as “a perfect combination of width of fairways, length of rough and pace and quality of greens. It should be used as a model for future Opens.”
As part of this Lancashire golf break, guests will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of this prestigious venue — staying just steps from the fairways, dining within the clubhouse, and playing the very same course where legends of the game have lifted the Claret Jug. With its fast greens, famous bunkering, and rich history, Royal Lytham & St Annes offers a golfing experience that is both demanding and unforgettable.
