Referencing an old English drink consisting of warm ale, gin and wormwood, Purl, ironically, is a cocktail bar known for its ability to satisfy the senses. The 19th century-style bar brings back the classic cocktails forgotten from the prohibition great new flare, creativity and innovation. Using aroma, fogs, airs, foams, food, bespoke serviceware and liquid nitrogen, cocktails at Purl transport the drinker to another time and place.

Having first opened its doors in Marylebone in 2010 Purl was one of London’s first speakeasy-type bars. The authentic basement bar is home to cutting-edge cocktail creations with a newfound focus on engaging all the senses. In the company of Purl’s experienced mixologist, learn the various techniques used to mix the delicious cocktails from aromas and fogs to airs and foams that beautifully balance each cocktail between traditional mixing and inventive, molecular techniques - enhancing every sip you take.
