London Olympic Skyline Flight Lesson with Elstree Helicopters

Take to the skies for a thrilling helicopter tour of London’s Olympic skyline. The experience begins with a pre-flight briefing, where participants will learn about the principles of flight, helicopter controls, and start-up and shut down procedures. Once briefed, it’s time for a photo opportunity at the helipad before take-off.

During the flight, passengers will enjoy spectacular aerial views of iconic landmarks such as the Olympic Park, the Shard, and the River Thames, flying at around 1,500 feet with professional commentary from an experienced pilot. At the instructor’s discretion, the front-seat passenger may even get the chance to take the controls, while those in the back can capture in-flight photos and videos with Crew Cams.

After landing, each participant will receive a Certificate of Achievement, with the option to purchase photos or a video of the flight. This unforgettable experience offers a unique perspective of London’s most famous sights and is perfect for sightseeing enthusiasts.

For safety reasons, guests must be able to speak and understand English.

Due to health and safety reasons, guests are required to be able to get in and out of the helicopter unaided.

Height, age and weight restrictions apply; guests are expected to be in reasonable health and agile enough to get in and out of the helicopter unaided. You should not take part if you suffer from epilepsy, vertigo or if you are pregnant.

Maximum weight limit per person is 20 stone (127kg).

Minimum pilot height is 4’ 6” and maximum is 7″ or 213cm.

Minimum pilot age is 10 years (adult supervision required for under 16s on airfield premises).
