Explore the legendary 19th century clipper, the Cutty Sark and uncover an iconic piece of nautical history in Greenwich. An award-winning visitor attraction, this meticulously restored vessel was one of the the fastest ships in her prime, renowned for her great voyages around the globe. The sole surviving tea clipper is part of the Royal Museums Greenwich complex and is meticulously preserved.
Initially built for the China tea trade and launched in 1869, the Cutty Sark is a pioneering masterpiece of engineering and design. Experience what life was like on this national icon with an audio guide. Costumed characters on board the ship add to the experience and help bring the history of the ship to life.
