Description
Located in East Sussex, Beacon Down Vineyard is everything you could want from a vineyard - beautiful scenery, excellent wines and no snobbery. The vineyard is owned by Paul and Al Pippard, wine enthusiasts who gave up their London life to pursue their dream of owning a vineyard in the countryside. Today Beacon Down vineyard occupies around 18 acres in the beautiful High Weald, and is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
As part of a group, you’ll be led by the owners on a journey from the transformation of the site previously used for sheep grazing and hay production to the beautiful vineyard it is today. Afterwards, there will be a fun wine tasting session, where you can sample the vineyard’s wines right there on site. At the end of your special day in the countryside, you’ll each receive a bottle of Bacchus or Pinot Gris, your own piece of Beacon Down Vineyard to enjoy at home.
