Heir to four generations of Alsatian bakers and pastry makers, Pierre Hermé is a French pastry chef most famous for his macarons - many of which feature unusual flavour combinations. A prodigious talent, Pierre Hermé is the youngest person ever to be named France's Pastry Chef of the Year, and as the only pastry chef to have been decorated as a Chevalier of Arts and Letters. Pierre Hermé Paris, Pierre's first pastry boutique, opened in Tokyo in 1998. His first Paris-based boutique followed in 2001. The subsequent fifteen years has seen Pierre Hermé Paris has become a globally acclaimed brand in patisserie; Pierre Hermé's delicacies can now be found at around 50 points of sale in around 12 countries. This exclusive macaron and dessert tasting will take place after-hours, in either the Lowndes Street or Monmouth Street London boutique. In a private group of up to eight guests, you will sample signature macarons as well as an assortment of other Pierre Hermé desserts. Toast the occasion with a half bottle of Champagne each.
