Haunted Walking Tour & a 5 Course Tasting Menu & Drinks at Taisteal

Taisteal is chef Gordon Craig’s latest venture and can be found on Raeburn Place, right in the heart of Stockbridge, Edinburgh. The restaurant aims to bring the best of Scottish produce and Gordon’s foreign travels together, with a menu featuring a globetrotting mixture of ingredients and the best of Scottish produce. During your five-course dinner and drinks pairing, you’ll be welcomed with a drink and shown to your table. Thereafter an evening of global travel awaits.

With an eclectic mix of dishes such as celeriac velouté with chorizo, roast rump of lamb with lamb tortellini and dark chocolate cremeux, drinks are carefully selected and paired with each dish to ensure maximum flavour and enjoyment. High quality ingredients sourced and prepared at Michelin-star level is what you can expect from your evening at Taisteal.

Continue the evening with a captivating walking tour of the darker closes and wynds of Edinburgh’s Old Town before venturing down into the haunted Blair Street underground vaults to uncover the city’s terrifying past. Hear stories of treason and torture, public hangings and beheadings, and the victims of vicious murderers Burke and Hare. Discover the city’s dark past and delve into the capital’s history on an entrancing adults-only tour. The perfect experience for those intrigued by Edinburgh’s ghoulish underbelly.

Hidden and Haunted Walking Tour:

• Daily at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 8:30pm
