Embark on this 11-night adventure with a two-night stay at the Fairmont Zimbali, one of South Africa’s premier resorts, set on the Dolphin Coast.
Relax in your Rovos Rail suite; designed with handsome wood-panelling and period Edwardian features. Each suite has its own lounge and full bathroom. During your stay, an enthusiastic team of chefs will be on hand to attend to each guest's dining needs, with a particular emphasis on cooking with local ingredients, and traditional African dishes.
On this journey from Durban to Victoria Falls, experience a visit Spionkop Lodge, which adjoins an 11,000 acre nature reserve and is the perfect base for exploring the mountains, bush, birds and battlefields of the region. The train will also pass through Hwange National Park – a rich and diverse wildlife sanctuary – where animals may be spotted from the train and you will enjoy a game drive excursion. Your rail trip will end at the mighty Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. The surrounding area offers recreational opportunities including cruises, whitewater rafting and game viewing, as well as photo safaris.
