A union of of atmospheres, memories, colours and passions are relived throughout the historic villa of Hotel Byron. Originally constructed for the Duke of Zoagli, the charm and elegant style of the villa appealed to the aristocracy of the time. It became a gathering spot for the beautiful people of high society, hosting guests such as the Savoy family.
Surrounding the villa is the chic seaside town of Forte Dei Marmi, full of ancient splendour and contemporary design. Piazzas, churches, towers and steeples continue to communicate centuries of history, while designer boutiques, smart cafés and expensive restaurants line the streets.
An evening at La Magnolia Ristorante invites you to dine on a Michelin-starred menu of Tuscan-Campanian fusion cuisine. Head Chef, Cristoforo Trapani, skilfully combines tradition and history of the Campania region, where he is from, with the particular qualities of local produce to create a smorgasbord of unique flavours. Every dish features a wholesome selection of seasonal, local produce, resulting in an ever-changing menu.
A visit to a local dairy will take you on an historical journey of milk and cheese production in the region, complete with a tasting of premium Italian cheeses. To complement the cheese, a trip to a Tuscan vineyard, Lucca Vineyard, will provide you with the opportunity to sample various wines from the area, with a personalised tour and tasting by one of the vineyard’s sommeliers.
