The celebrated Bouchard Finlayson estate produces some of South Africa's most distinguished wines. Described by Berry Brothers & Rudd as "without question one of South Africa's leading premium producers", Bouchard's wines are much sought-after, and not readily available in the UK. There are only a small collection of venues with them on offer. The Montague on the Gardens Hotel is one of the Bouchard estate's sister properties, part of the Red Carnation Hotels group. In the seclusion of Bloomsbury, the hotel is a setting of serenity on the vibrant doorstep of Soho and Covent Garden. A multi-time winner of TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Award, this Georgian-style townhouse provides exemplary personal service, understated comfort, and - of course - a selection of Bouchard Finlayson's finest. The intimate Terrace Bar & Conservatories are an oasis from London's busy streets. Seated in one of these beautiful spaces, sample three premium wines each from the estate. A brief discussion of the wines, two red and one white, from the hotel's sommelier will last approximately 20 minutes, after which guests are free to enjoy the wines at their own leisure. To round off the experience, each wine will be expertly matched with canapés inspired by the nation's cuisine, for an authentic South African experience.
